Stepping On Program is an evidence-based falls prevention program for community older adults

It is a seven-week two hourly group based falls prevention program for community dwelling elderly. It is an evidence base & multifaceted community program using a small-group learning environment to reduce falls by 31% (RR=0.69) in older people living at home. It adopts the adult learning principles to promote positive behavioural changes resulting in reduced fall rate. It is now implemented widely in Australia and the US.
